I have just completed my high school and have no experience in NDT. Can I get Level II certified in RT, UT, ET, MT and PT?
You may join a preparatory course in NDT, that will let you work as a trainee for some time and when your employer realizes that you are capable of handling work independently, he may offer you an examination and certification to Level I or Level II based on your performance, academic qualifications and experience on the job.
How to register for a course?
You may use online registration form or call us and confirm your participation at least 2 days prior to the date of the course. You may either come down to our office on the day before the course during working time or on the start date to fill up the registration form.
What are the class timings?
Classes are taken from 10:00 to 17:00 hours. Please refer the schedule for this year for dates.
What are documents required for registration?
Please carry copies of your academic qualification certificate, Eye test certificate as per GQC standard format (you can download here), employment proof, 7 passport size photographs and full fee for the course.
What about the examinations? Can I get the certificate if I fail the test?
Each method will have 3 examinations. You need to score a minimum of 70% in each paper and the average of these should be 80% to get certified. If you fail the test, you may opt for a free re-examination, subject to conditions. It’s your responsibility to concentrate the classes, involving in discussions and study the respected subjects. We will provide you all possible assistance in learning the subject. Certificates will be issued only if you successfully completed the qualifying the examination.
Do you provide placements after the course?
We can definitely help you to find a job with the names and contact information of companies who may be recruiting. We regularly post job listings on our blog you can subscribe to our blog feed.
Upon completion of the course, will I be able to perform the work independently?
Yes, you should be. It is exactly, what are we trying to provide you with our lectures, equipments, practicals and reference materials.
I am not a Technician; I am an Engineer / Supervisor, why should I learn to use these equipments?
Unless you know the proper usage, you would not be able to identify the problems, suitability of equipment, and selection of effective testing method.
How long the certificates are valid for?
Certificates are valid for a period of 5 years. It can be renewed further with documented evidence of work continuity. Contact us for renewal charges.
Can I get the certificates renewed on the same day if I bring it to GQC?
Yes, you may get these renewed in 1 hour if you bring it to us with the relevant documents shown above.
Can I get equipments to use in the class, if I join?
Yes, there are many things that you are required to perform with these equipments in the class. You shall be completed practical exam with these equipments to get certified.
I am already working, I need level II certificates in RT, UT, ET, MT and PT. I do not have sufficient time to attend the full-time course. Do you have any options?
